Commands and keys

The command palette
Ctrl-k opens the palette. Start typing to narrow the list, then press Enter to run the highlighted command. Commands show their key next to them, so the palette doubles as a way to learn them.

You can also click a row.

is how you open a file (open-file report.pdf), move a panel, or run any
command by name. Tab completes command names.

The mode tag

MENU, HELP, and FIND when you are searching a pane (Ctrl-b then /).
